Amy J. Galloway, a director with Tripp Scott, focuses her practice in the areas of commercial real estate, entrepreneurial business, health care law and specialized commercial litigation.

In the litigation arena, Galloway specializes in land use, entitlements and real estate litigation, and she serves as special master in state and federal complex commercial litigation matters.

Previously, Galloway was a founding partner with Duke Mullin & Galloway, which merged with Tripp Scott in 2006. At Duke Mullin, she represented purchasers and sellers of commercial and residential properties as well as landlords and commercial tenants in leasehold transactions, including lease formation, termination and work out situations. In addition, she has represented businesses and their principals in general commercial matters, including corporate and limited liability company formations; asset and stock purchase transactions; preparation and negotiation of employment contracts for officers, employees and independent contractors; restrictive covenants; and severance dispute resolution. Galloway also represented physicians and health care providers in practice acquisitions and peer review matters.

In addition to her Broward County and State of Florida Bar memberships, Galloway is a member of C.R.E.W. (Commercial Real Estate Women), Leadership Broward Foundation and the University of Florida Alumni Association. She also serves on the executive board of Hospice Hundred.

Galloway holds a law degree and a bachelor's degree from the University of Florida. After law school, she served as a law clerk for Judge James Lawrence King, U.S. District Court, Southern District of Florida, was a recipient of the President's Recognition Award, a member of the Caucus of Women Student Leaders and Phi Delta Phi, and was elected secretary of the John Marshall Bar Association.
