Biographies

Jeffrey Fauer, an associate with Tripp Scott, focuses his practice in the areas of general commercial litigation and probate litigation.

Fauer has represented clients at various stages of litigation, including pre-trial, post-trial and mediation.  He has authored appellate briefs, including one published decision, and has litigated a variety of cases, including commercial contract disputes and probate matters.  Most recently, Fauer successfully petitioned the Courts in Broward and Dade Counties for appointment of blanket receivers to assist condominium associations in the collection of delinquent maintenance fees.     

Before joining the firm, Fauer worked as a summer associate at Tripp Scott's Fort Lauderdale office.  While attending law school, Fauer clerked at Murray & Simmons, a Fort Lauderdale, Fla. AV-rated real estate law firm.  Prior to that he interned at King & Spalding, an international law firm based in Atlanta, Ga.

Active in the community, Fauer has participated in numerous charity fundraising events including the Broward County Partnership for the Homeless 2009 Golfathon. 

Fauer holds a law degree from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., where he was a member on the American Trial Lawyers Association Honor Society and the Sports & Entertainment Law Society.  During law school, Fauer was the recipient of an academic bar scholarship.  Fauer holds a bachelor's degree in economics from Emory University in Atlanta, where he was a member of the varsity track team.
