Raphael, an associate with Tripp Scott, focuses her practice on general corporate and contract law, condominium and homeowners association matters as well as property financing and transaction counsel to buyers, sellers, lenders and developers of residential and commercial real estate. Before joining Tripp Scott, Raphael worked as a summer associate with the firm. She has worked as a judicial intern with Judge W. Herbert Moriarity in the 17th Judicial Circuit in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and as a research assistant at Shepard Broad Law Center at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale. Raphael was an associate editor of the Nova Southeastern University Law Review, where she published an article entitled, Have American Standards of Decency Evolved to the Point Where Capital Punishment Inflicted Upon the Mentally Retarded Can No Longer be Tolerated? Raphael is actively involved with the American Cancer Society Jail & Bail fundraiser, Kids@Home and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation honored Raphael for her outstanding contributions to the community and her fundraising commitment to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in June 2006. She is past coordinator of the South Florida AIDS Walk for Life. Raphael holds a law degree with honors from the Shepard Broad Law Center at Nova Southeastern University, where she was a member of the Moot Court Honor Society. She holds a bachelor's degree with honors in business administration from Lynn University.
