Melissa Button, an associate with Tripp Scott, focuses her practice in the areas of General Commercial Litigation, Personal Injury and Insurance Defense.
 
As a law student, Button interned with the Broward State Attorney's office where she assisted lawyers and tried cases in the domestic violence division. Prior to this, Button interned with Mager Law Group. 

Button holds a law degree, magna cum laude, from St. Thomas University School of Law, where she graduated in the top seven percent of her class.  During law school, Button was a member of the Moot Court Honor Society, Mock Trial Team and the Florida Association of Women Lawyers.  Currently, Button is actively involved in the Peter T. Fay American Inn of Court, and the Phi Delta Phi Spellman Inn.

Button holds a bachelor's degree in political science from Aquinas College.
