Practice Areas: Entrepreneurial Business Practice Estate Planning & Probate Tanya L. Bower, a director with Tripp Scott, focuses her practice on corporate and tax matters, including estate planning, asset protection and wealth preservation. She counsels owners of closely-held businesses on estate-planning matters. In addition, she counsels her clients on a wide range of businesses on ERISA matters, including establishing, amending and terminating pension plans. Bower's experience includes drafting corporate contracts and other documents; establishing and dissolving corporations, limited-liability companies and partnerships; and representing owners in acquisitions and mergers, including analyzing the tax aspects of these transactions. Currently, Bower is the secretary and a director of Rebuilding Together Broward County Inc., she's an active member of the Junior League of Greater Ft. Lauderdale and serves as co-chair of its strategic planning committee. She is also a current member of the Seminole Club of Broward County and serves as the tournament chairperson for the Bobby Bowden Golf Tournament. In addition, to her community involvement, Bower is a frequent speaker to community and business organizations on taxation and pension-related issues. Bower holds an LL.M in taxation from the University of Miami School of Law, a law degree, with honors, from Florida State University College of Law and a bachelor's degree in business administration from Nova Southeastern University.
