John Bianco is the director of the firm's creditors' rights department. He focuses his practice on bankruptcy and special asset workout matters, including those involving creditors' rights and credit litigation.
He has more than 18 years of experience in bankruptcy and commercial litigation. Bianco represents national financial institutions and other creditors throughout Florida, including lenders, commercial landlords, condominium and homeowners associations, contractors and individuals. In addition, he has extensive experience in representing secured and unsecured creditors, creditor committees and trustees in Chapter 7 and 11 bankruptcies.
Prior to joining Tripp Scott, Bianco was a member with a Tampa-based law firm. Before this, he was a managing partner with Meininger, Bianco & Porto, P.A.
Bianco is a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute and the National Association of Chapter 13 Trustees.
He holds a law degree from Cumberland School of Law and a bachelor's degree in business/marketing from Florida State University.
