Chelsy V. Lutz is an associate with Tripp Scott and focuses her practice on taxation, including estate planning and private wealth preservation, corporate transactions and entrepreneurial business matters.
Prior to joining the firm, Chelsy worked as a tax consultant for Deloitte in their International Tax and Transfer Pricing Services group, assisting multinational clients with their specific inbound and outbound tax needs.
While in law school, Chelsy served as a student attorney for the Janet R. Spragens Federal Tax Clinic, the first tax clinic of its kind in the county to serve low-income individuals with their federal income tax needs before the IRS and the United States Tax Court in Washington, DC. Prior to attending law school, Chelsy served as a constituent liaison in the House of Representatives for Congressman Brad Wenstrup for the 2nd District of Ohio.
Chelsy holds an LL.M. in taxation from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law, a law degree from American University Washington College of Law, and a bachelor’s degree from Xavier University.
