Tripp Scott Director To Vice-Chair At South Florida PBS 

Fort Lauderdale, Fla., January 17, 2023. Tripp Scott today announced that Charles Tatelbaum, a director with the firm, has been elected as Vice-Chair of the Board of Directors of South Florida PBS representing Broward County. Prior to this election, Chuck served as the Chair of the Board's Budget and Finance Committee, and he will continue to also hold that position. 

South Florida PBS owns and operates the lead public broadcasting television stations in South Florida – WPBT in Miami and Fort Lauderdale and WXEL in the Palm Beaches. It is Florida’s largest public media company, which includes public broadcasting stations WPBT2 and WXEL, serving approximately 6.3 million viewers of all ages and cultural backgrounds from Key West to the Sebastian Inlet and from the Atlantic Ocean west to Lake Okeechobee.

South Florida PBS’ 24/7 Health Channel is a doctor-based television channel with original long form and short form programs through which people can get their medical and healthcare questions answered. In conjunction with the broadcast channel, Health Channel has an advanced online service including a user-friendly website with more than 5,000 unique health-related and medical videos, providing access to health information and a marketplace of products and services, including Ask Hanna, a free health counseling service.
