Tripp Scott's Douglas Reynolds elected to FFLA Board

Douglas Reynolds, a director at Tripp Scott, has been elected to serve a three-year term commencing July 1, 2024 as a member of the board of directors of FFLA Inc., formally known as the Florida Bar Foundation.

The Florida Bar Board of Governors formed  the Florida  Bar Foundation, a nonprofit corporation, in 1956 to foster  law-related public interest programs on behalf of Florida’s legal professionals. FFLA  funds local and statewide civil legal aid organizations and projects in delivering legal aid assist assistance to  residents in need, including but not limited to, children who are lost in the foster care system, disaster survivors, veterans at  risk of homelessness and the  elderly and disabled . The primary source of FFLA’s funding comes from the Interest on Trust Accounts (IOTA) Program implemented by the Florida Supreme Court in 1981.  In 2023 FFLA distributed over $30,000,000 in funds to support programs throughout the State of Florda.

Mr. Reynolds presently serves on the Board of Directors of Legal Aid Services of Broward and Collier Counties and Coast To Coast Legal Aid of South Florida.
