Manooch Thomas Azizi is an associate with Tripp Scott and focuses his practice in the areas of General corporate transactions and services, Entrepreneurial business, Financing, Commercial real estate transactions (such as acquisitions, sales, leases, financing, sales under threat of government condemnation), Condominium and homeowners associations.

He volunteers his time as Chair of the Legal Committee for the Mission United Advisory Council of United Way of Broward County, which is dedicated to assisting United States military veterans and their families in Broward County with employment services, legal assistance, housing support, education, health, and financial stability. He also volunteers as legal counsel for Hispanic Unity of Florida, which empowers multi-cultural working families from the United States as well as 25 other countries to become self-sufficient, productive and civically engaged.

Prior to joining Tripp Scott, Manooch was as a litigator with previous experience in complex commercial litigation, large-scale commercial construction defect, general liability, and Florida and federal appeals.

Prior to starting his legal career, Manooch was an auditor and consultant at a big four professional services firm in New York handling Sarbanes-Oxley Act compliance in the information technology, risk, and assurance practice.

He proudly served for over a decade as a United States Naval Officer, both on active duty and in the Reserve, deployed overseas several times in support of the Global War on Terrorism, and received an honorable discharge.

Manooch received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the George Washington University. He received his law degree with honors from St. Thomas University School of Law. While in law school, Manooch served as a judicial legal intern for the Honorable Judge Thomas J. Rebull in Florida’s Eleventh Judicial Circuit. He earned two book awards in Trial Advocacy Practice and Admiralty Law and served as the Editor-in-Chief of the St. Thomas Journal of Complex Litigation, a member of the Moot Court Board, and President of the Maritime Law Society.
