Stephanie Toothaker Named Vice Chair of Government Affairs for the Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., Feb. 8, 2012 – Tripp Scott today announced that Stephanie Toothaker, a director with the law firm, has been named Vice Chair of Government Affairs for the Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce, a position which is part of the Chamber’s Executive Committee.

Since 1910, the Greater Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce has been committed to serving the business community and helping to promote future economic growth and development.

Toothaker is an accomplished attorney with more than 13 years of experience representing large corporations and companies seeking land development entitlements. Her specific expertise on these matters has focused on developments of regional impact, land use plan amendments, zoning modifications and site plan approvals.

Toothaker regularly represents clients before governmental entities such as the Broward County Commission, the Palm Beach County Commission, the City of Ft. Lauderdale and other municipalities within Broward County. She holds a juris doctor and a bachelor of science from the University of Florida.
