Corey D. Cohen is a director with Tripp Scott and a commercial litigator with significant experience representing clients in complex matters in both federal and state courts throughout the country. He maintains a diverse litigation practice that includes business and commercial disputes, creditors’ rights, shareholder and partner disputes, personal injury defense, consumer dispute resolution, real estate litigation, and bankruptcy-related matters. Corey approaches each matter with a strong focus on his clients’ objectives, tailoring litigation strategy to align with their practical, financial, and business needs while efficiently guiding cases from pre-suit evaluation through trial, post-judgment enforcement, and appeal when necessary.
Corey earned his Juris Doctor degree, magna cum laude, from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law. During law school, he served as Executive Editor for Volume 44 of the Nova Law Review and competed in a national mock trial competition. He also interned for the Honorable Bruce E. Reinhart of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida, where he gained valuable insight into federal litigation and judicial decision-making.
