Dean Meyers represents developers, contractors, subcontractors, and design professionals in all aspects of civil and construction litigation, including depositions and discovery, motion practice, arbitration, and trial. Dean also advises clients on risk assessment through contract review and negotiation. He also has significant experience defending developers and contractors in catastrophic injury claims at construction sites. He also assists clients with environmental claims and remediation.
Prior to law school, Mr. Meyers was a project engineer at the national environmental and civil engineering firm Malcolm Pirnie (the Water Division of ARCADIS). His engineering experience includes providing treatment optimization, design, and construction management services for water and wastewater treatment clients throughout Florida and the Southeast.
Prior to joining Tripp Scott, Meyers was a litigator with previous experience in complex construction and commercial litigation, general liability, and environmental litigation.
Born in Hollywood, Florida, and raised in Miami, Dean enjoys spending time near and on the water with his wife and two children, as well as golfing, attending live music events, and watching cinema.
