Tripp Scott Law Firm Expands Creditors’ Rights Practice
Tripp Scott announces that David Ray, an attorney with 20 years’ experience as a creditors’ rights attorney, has joined the firm as of counsel. David will focus his practice on creditors’ rights, civil litigation and asset protection.
David focuses his practice primarily on bankruptcy and insolvency, asset protection, creditors’ rights, bankruptcy adversary proceedings, and civil litigation. A Fort Lauderdale native, David graduated from Florida State University and received both Bachelor and Master of Science Degrees, with a focus on psychology and human behavior. David was the law review executive editor during his time at Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law and worked at several regional and national law firms before joining Tripp Scott in 2025.
He regularly represents debtors, fiduciaries, secured and unsecured creditors in complex insolvency reorganizations, litigations, and post-judgment collections processes. David has been recognized as a top-rated bankruptcy attorney by Florida Super Lawyers for more than fifteen consecutive years.
He was one of the founders of The Bougainvilla House, a local non-profit organization which provides teens and young adults with therapy and support they and their families need for substance use and behavioral health issues, and he remains passionately dedicated to the betterment of his community.
