Maria Rojas is an associate with Tripp Scott and focuses her practice on Education Law and Government Affairs. Maria represents a variety of different educational institutions, including charter schools and private schools, education management organizations, and related entities in regulatory, governance, and day-to-day operational matters. Her practice includes advising clients on a wide range of issues, including contract negotiations, policy development, governance, regulatory compliance, employee relations, student services under IDEA/ESE and Section 504, and litigation support at the administrative and trial level. Maria also routinely represents borrowers and financial institutions in real estate matters, including transactions involving public municipal bond financing and private lending.

Prior to joining Tripp Scott as an attorney in 2024, Maria was a summer associate and law clerk at the firm, where she gained experience assisting in various civil matters. Maria earned her Juris Doctor from the Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Central Florida. During law school, she served as Chief Justice of the Moot Court Honor Society and Goodwin Alumni Editor for the Nova Law Review, and she was named Southeast Regional Champion in the New York City Bar National Moot Court Competition.
